Greyhound Station Atlanta
The construction of this 14,000 square foot state-of-the-art Greyhound Bus terminal was designed to accommodate eight intercity buses; two Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) stops, and seamless rail connections. The facility features a roofline that ascends to two stories in height, culminating in a canopy over the main entrance.
United Consulting provided geotechnical engineering services that included observing aggregate pier installation; conducting soil compaction and foundation bearing tests; inspecting reinforcing and structural steel; verifying bolted and welded connections of the structural steel elements; and performing concrete testing and verifications.
Our team of experts also facilitated the removal of unsuitable materials identified through a thorough evaluation of site conditions, minimizing delays and additional construction costs.
